1) 4 litres homo milk
2) 1 litre buttermilk
Pour both into a large bowl, let stand 24 hours.
Pour into a 6 litre shallow baking dish.
Bake 350 for 1 hour.
Reduce heat to 200 for 1 more hour.
Crumble the cheese in the liquid or hang in a cheesecloth squeezing to drain liquid away.
I like the liquid left in like store bought cottage cheese.
