1) 3 c flour
2) 2 c sugar
3) 1 t salt
4) 1 t baking powder
5) 1/2 t baking soda
6) 1 c buttermilk
7) 1 c butter, soft
8) 2 t vanilla
9) 4 eggs
10) 3/4 c sugar
11) 1/3 c butter
12) 3 T water
13) 1 - 2 t vanilla
14) powdered sugar
Oven 325
Grease & flour bundt pan or square muffin pans (to make little tea cakes)
Blend 1) to 9) low till moist.
Beat med speed 3 mins.
Pour into pans.
Bake 55 - 70 mins for bundt pan, 15 min or so for square muffins till toothpick clean.
Mix 10) to 13) in saucepan.
Cook low till melted.
Pierce cake, pour most of sauce over cake.
Stand 5 - 10 min in pan before inverting on rack.
Drizzle with remaining sauce.
Sprinkle with 14)
