Miso Soup

1)  5 c Dashi
2)  1/3 c miso
3)  tofu, diced & green onions, sl

Heat  1)  over low.
Strain in  2)
Cook low till heated
Add  3)  heat 1 min.


Dashi

1)  6" piece konbu
2)  2-3 oz bonito flakes

Wipe konbu with dry paper towel.
Place in 2 qt cold water.
Boil, remove konbu.
Boil again, add flakes in a metal strainer.
Remove from heat.
Stand 2 - 3 min
Strain.
