Jean's Favorite Chicken


1)  4 chicken breasts 1/2'd - or equal amount of chicken thighs (boneless & skinless)
2)  salt & pepper
3)  paprika
4)  butter
5)  1 pkg dry  onion soup mix
6)  1 1/2 cans cream of celery or mushroom soup
7)  1 1/2 c sour cream
8)  1 1/2 cans sliced mushrooms
9)  2 t dill weed
10)  1 T lemon juice

Place meat in buttered casserole dish.
Season with  2)  &  3)
Mix  5)  to  10)
Pour over chicken.
Bake 350 for 1 to 1 1/4 hours till done.

This was Jean's favorite chicken recipe; she ran the Jean Cannem show on CTV.

💜  This is the best sauce recipe for chicken I have ever tasted!  I increased some of the ingredients for the sauce and was so glad I did.  You may want to serve this dish with some fresh Portuguese buns to sop up the sauce!
