Italian Bolognese with Mushrooms Sauce - Grazie Mille!




1)  3 lg onions, finely chopped
2)  24 mushrooms, finely chopped
3)  1 1/2 to 2 heads garlic, finely chopped
4)  8 slices Italian white bread, torn
5)  1/2 c milk
6)  3 lb extra lean (85% lean) ground beef
7)  1 can diced tomatoes
8)  2 cans whole tomatoes
9)  1 jar strained tomatoes
10)  1/2 c tomato paste, from tube
11)  6 T W sauce
12)  salt & pepper
13)  1 T sugar
14)  parmesan cheese, grated

Saute  1)  in 3T olive oil in a very large pot.
Add 2)  &  3)  Saute low till tender.
Use fork or food processor to mix 4)  &  5) with 1 t salt & pepper
Add  6)  pulse or mix with hand mixer till beef is fully covered in bread and milk mix.
Add meat to pot along with  7)  to  9)
Simmer low 30 min till beef is cooked thru.
Skim any fat from top
Add  10)  to  13)
Simmer still thickened, adjust seasonings.
Cool, store in fridge overnight, next day put some in freezer containers.
