Homemade Creme Fraiche or Cultured Cream



1)  2 c whipping cream
2)  3 T buttermilk
3)  1/8 to  1/4 t salt

Mix well in sterile quart sized jar.
Cover with coffee filter and elastic.
Stand in warm place 24 hours.
If house is cool place in oven with light on.
Stir well and cover with sealer lid.
Put in fridge for 24 hours.
Enjoy!

Great served with Perogies or add a blop to a bowl of soup.
Can be used in any recipe calling for sour cream like my
